Vertical Stab – Skeleton completed

Thanks to Christmas, I have finally got some time for my plane.

Went all the way from page 06-03 to page 06-05

All the components come together really well.

The DVD I bought from www.homebuilthelp.com comes really handy.

Found it challenging to get AN426AD3-3.5 rivets squeezed nicely. They come out OK but I think they could be done better. May need to try different squeezer. The squeezer I’ve got is a cheapest one. Seems OK, but I did not try any other. For what looks like a very simple tool they are quite expensive.

Anyway, the skeleton is done and I’m quite happy with it.

Spend 8 hour.
