First flight conducted by a very experienced pilot and very good person – Alan Searl. The plane behaved as expected except for the heavy right wing and oil temperature not raising above 60C.

Had an ignition problem after a few successful engine start. One day it just wouldn’t start. Narrowed down the problem to the ground connection between ignition units and the right intake manifold. Good cleaning fixed the problem

Completed SB 18-02-02 – significant reinforcement of stabilator hinge attachment in order to prevent stab spar cracking. Control horns attachment has also been reinforced by a doubler on each side of the spar. Spent about 12 hours on this.
